Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Sous AI mobile application and related services (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Parties
These Terms form an agreement between you ("User") and the operator of Sous AI ("we", "us", "Sous AI"). By using the Service you confirm that you have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.
2. Service description
Sous AI is an AI-powered kitchen assistant that helps you manage a personal pantry, generate recipes from your ingredients, plan menus and browse a recipe library. Some features rely on third-party AI providers and may evolve over time.
3. Registration and use
To use certain features you may need to create an account using an email address or a supported sign-in provider. You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials confidential and use the account for personal, non-commercial purposes only. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
4. Acceptable use
You agree to use Sous AI only for lawful purposes. You will not (a) attempt to disrupt, attack or reverse-engineer the Service, (b) misuse AI features to generate harmful, illegal or abusive content, (c) scrape, resell or use Service outputs to train competing AI models, or (d) impersonate another person or violate the rights of others. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these rules.
6. Intellectual property
The Sous AI app, brand, logo, design, software and original content are owned by us and protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service. You retain ownership of the content you create (such as your pantry items and personal menus) and grant us the rights necessary to operate, secure and improve the Service on your behalf.
7. Purchases and subscriptions
If we offer paid features or subscriptions, billing is processed by the relevant app store (Apple App Store or Google Play) under their terms. Pricing, renewal and refund policies are shown at the point of purchase and may be governed by the platform's rules.
8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free or secure operation. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sous AI is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including any loss caused by reliance on AI-generated content.
9. Suspension and termination
You can stop using the Service or delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, misuse the Service, or if required by law. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (such as intellectual property and limitation of liability) will continue to apply.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you in the app or by email and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts and enforcement offices of Istanbul, Türkiye, unless mandatory consumer-protection law of your country of residence provides otherwise.
